The Story

Amish-built dining tables from around Shipshewana carry a certain honesty in the way the wood is shown. The Houston Trestle sits inside that tradition: rustic roughsawn Brown Maple with tool marks left visible, finished in an Almond stain that lets the grain do the talking. SKU 34505.

Specs

What You’ll Notice

Roughsawn maple resists showing surface wear because there is already texture in the wood. A small ding on a smooth-planed tabletop reads as damage; on this surface it disappears into the character of the original mill cut. That means the table looks better in year five than a smoother-finished piece would.
