Logan Trestle

Overview

Oak is the dense, open-grain hardwood that carries stain evenly and refinishes cleanly, and the Logan Trestle uses it well. At 42×72 the table sits solidly in a standard dining room without eating floor space that could go to sideboards or a corner cabinet. The Bel Air stain brings out oak’s characteristic grain figure without darkening it into an unrecognizable range.

Build Notes

The trestle base distributes weight low across two footings, so the visual weight of the table concentrates at the top where you actually want it. The Malibu side chair (SKU 33798) pairs directly with this table, matched in wood species and finish for a coordinated dining set.

In Practice

A 72-inch length seats six adults comfortably without asking for an oversized room. Because table and chairs come from the same production, color match is exact rather than close-enough.
